Terms and Conditions

Payment

  • Please check current rates before booking.
  • By paying any part of the invoice the hirer acknowledges and agrees to the Terms & Conditions.
  • For bookings greater than 7 business days in advance, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required within 5 business days of receipt of invoice to secure the date and time. Boothy Call reserves the right to reallocate event dates and time slots if this is not met.
  • Booking is only confirmed upon receipt of deposit and a confirmation email.
  • The outstanding amount is to be finalised 7 business days before event date. A confirmation reminder will be delivered prior to those 7 business days.
  • For bookings made within 7 days of event, the total amount is due within 48hrs of booking. This payment including the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Certain dates are subject to an additional surcharge e.g. Public holidays, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, etc.

 

Cancellations 

  • All deposits are non-refundable. The period of hire is firm and Boothy Call cannot be held responsible for unforeseen delays at the venue e.g. power outage, etc.
  • If the hirer cancels within 30 days before event date the deposit can be held in lieu for a future booking.
  • Prior notice is required for changes to the time and date of event. Boothy Call will try to accommodate the change based on availability, however is not obliged to if unavailable.
  • Boothy Call reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. As such any payments including deposit will be refunded back to hirer.

 

Delivery & Travel Fees 

  • Boothy Call operates from the eastern suburbs in Melbourne, Australia. As such, travel within 0-30km from Doncaster East = FREE
  • For events >30km from Doncaster East, a quote will be provided on request.
  • Parking in Melbourne CBD will be arranged or paid for by the hirer.

 

Hiring, Delivery & Service 

Delivery, set up and removal of the Photo Booth/Hashtag Print Station are free of charge. Time taken to deliver, set up and remove the Photobooth/ Hashtag Print Station will be outside the rental period. A Boothy Call attendant will aim to arrive an hour prior to hire time to setup. An earlier setup time can be arranged in discussion with Boothy Call and an idle fee may be applied for setup much earlier than the designated hour. A trained attendant will be within close proximity of the Photo Booth/ Hashtag Print Station at all times to ensure smooth running. The hirer will be liable for any damage caused to Boothy Call (photobooth) (hashtag print station) within the duration of the hire.

 

Use of Images 

When hiring from Boothy Call, the hirer gives permission for images taken at the event to be used on Boothy Call’s website and for advertising purposes. This is void if the hirer advises prior to the event that they would not like their images used. Boothy Call will not use images which are deemed unsuitable on their website or for advertising and will not use any content that may be personally damaging to any person/s.

 

Force Majeure 

Boothy Call will not be liable for failing to perform under this agreement as long as the failure is triggered by an occurrence of any event beyond reasonable control, including a labour disturbance, Internet outage or interruption of service, communication outage failure by a service provided to us to perform, fire, threatened or actual act of terrorism, natural disaster, or war.

 

Miscellaneous 

If circumstances arise where there is a threat or implied threat of harm, damage or violence to Boothy Call staff or equipment, Boothy Call reserves the right to cease providing services.
